OG just tore this poor telephone tech support girl Amy at Real Networks to shreds. He was convinced that RealPlayer had hijacked his computer turning all JPEGs into unusable JFIFs. I think JFIF may stand for JPEG Flung Into Future, but I’m not sure. Anyway, first OG called Amy an ignorant slut. Then he accused her of being behind a Real Networks conspiracy to take over his computer. Finally he hung up on her, as she was apologizing profusely. She was almost certainly in tears. Morale of the story, don’t mess with OG’s JPEGs. Turns out though, that it was Firefox 3’s fault, not RealPlayer’s. I think he’s trying to find a phone number for the Mozilla Foundation now.

Vegetarians disturb OG

Old Gary is quite disturbed at the notion of vegetarianism/veganism. He had a coffee mug custom made that reads, “Dear Justin From The Future, For every animal you do not eat, I will eat two. —Old Gary”. You can only see the message when the mug is heated.

Old Gary wrote a post about Young Richard’s note taking habits today. I haven’t gotten a chance to swipe OG’s notebook yet, but his notes are very neat and meticulous. OG’s handwriting is small to very small.
